K4Y.History.radio is an IRS 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the pivotal stories of the American Revolution through Amateur Radio special events and educational outreach. We believe that the The Surrender at Yorktown and the combined forces of Patriots, French allies, and militia who secured victory deserve to be remembered and honored for generations to come.
WHAT WE DO
📡 Amateur Radio Special Events
We organize annual special event stations commemorating the The Surrender at Yorktown and other pivotal Revolutionary War battles, connecting thousands of Amateur Radio operators worldwide.
Annual Events: K4Y (Battle of Yorktown), plus participation in the Chasing Cornwallis Challenge series.
📚 Historical Education
We provide educational resources, historical content, and storytelling to help Americans understand the significance of the The Surrender at Yorktown and its impact on world history.
Focus: Making Revolutionary War history accessible and engaging for modern audiences.
🤝 Community Outreach
We partner with historical societies, museums, and educational institutions to promote awareness of Revolutionary War history and the importance of preserving these stories.
