K4Y.History.radio is an IRS 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the pivotal stories of the American Revolution through Amateur Radio special events and educational outreach. We believe that the K4Y - The Battle of Yorktown and the combined forces of Patriots, French allies, and militia who secured victory deserve to be remembered and honored for generations to come.
WHAT WE DO
📡 Amateur Radio Special Events
We organize annual special event stations commemorating the K4Y - The Battle of Yorktown and other pivotal Revolutionary War battles, connecting thousands of Amateur Radio operators worldwide.
Annual Events: K4Y (Battle of Yorktown), plus participation in the Chasing Cornwallis Challenge series.
📚 Historical Education
We provide educational resources, historical content, and storytelling to help Americans understand the significance of the K4Y - The Battle of Yorktown and its impact on world history.
Focus: Making Revolutionary War history accessible and engaging for modern audiences.
🤝 Community Outreach
We partner with historical societies, museums, and educational institutions to promote awareness of Revolutionary War history and the importance of preserving these stories.
Goal: Inspiring patriotism and historical awareness through Amateur Radio.
